What is 1010.2 annealed laminated glass?
The 1010.2 annealed laminated glass, also called float laminated glass 10+0.76PVB+10mm, or VSG 1010.2, uses two pieces of 10mm clear annealed glass with two layers of Polyvinyl butyral (PVB),0.76mm thickness, and laminate by Autoclave. The glass is not just limited by 10mm clear annealed glass, but also can use 10mm frosted glass, 10mm ultra clear glass, 10mm tempered glass, 10mm ceramic fritted glass, or 10mm fluted glass, depending on what kind of projects you use.
The 1010.2 Laminated glass is known for its safety features as the interlayer holds the glass together when shattered, reducing the risk of injury from sharp glass shards.

What advantages of 10+0.76PVB+10mm annealed laminated glass
- Super high transmittance: we adopt the top grade 10mm float glass with transmittance up to 87%;
- Safety & Security: When the clear laminated glass is attacked by an outside force, the PVB film has strong tenacity and can absorb and weaken a mass of striking energy, so it is very hard to penetrate. Even if it’s broken, the broken glass sharp pieces will stick to the PVB film and not scatter, to ensure human safety effectively.
- Splendid soundproofing function: our high-quality glass sheets and top-grade PVB reduce stop the sound transmission. A standard insulated window with one layer of laminated glass would have a sound transmission class of around 32-35, highly improved from a standard insulated window without laminated glass.

Sliding doors, windows, and folding doors, windows, when they use laminated glass unit, can ensure good safety, and noise reduction, if they have a frosted effect, they have privacy and decorative effects.
The size is normally less than 2.4mm height is okay, if more, the glass is too heavy and not suggested for this system.
Annealed PVB Laminated glass for balcony
Even though we do not suggest using annealed laminated glass for the balcony, it’s still an option for that, which is suitable for some areas, in which the environment is good, and not high.
If the area needs more protection, we still suggest using 1010.4 tempered laminated glass.
