This glass product combines two 4mm thickness tempered glass panes with a PVB durable film or interlayer through advanced high-temperature and high-pressure technology, creating a structurally robust composite that withstands impact, thermal stress and other conditions.
PVB is polyvinyl butyral. It exhibits excellent adhesion to glass but poor adhesion to metals and low resistance to water. Above 70℃, its adhesive properties decline rapidly. When used outdoors with exposed edges, delamination may occur. Available in clear, milky white, pink, blue, and other colors, PVB films come in standard thicknesses of 0.38mm, 0.76mm, and 1.52mm.
