4-How to produce 6+12A+6mm Frosted Insulated Glass?
Selection and Cutting
Use premium float glass and frosted glass. Place them on the cutting machine and cut two 6mm clear glass panes and one 6mm frosted glass pane to the final dimensions specified in the drawings. After cutting, polish the edges with grinding machines to ensure they are smooth and clean. Finally, thoroughly clean the glass surfaces with washing machines to remove dust and residues, preparing them for assembly and use.
Tempering Process
After cleaning the glass thoroughly, it is heated in a furnace to around 620°C to 650°C (1148°F to 1202°F). The glass is then rapidly cooled using high-pressure air jets in quenching, strengthening the glass by creating internal compressive stresses. Once tempered, the glass undergoes a quality inspection to check for defects and ensure it meets safety and quality standards.
Assembly Process
During the assembly process, use a 12mm spacer and place it between the two glass panes, then apply a primary sealant (usually butyl) and a secondary sealant (such as polysulfide or silicone) to ensure complete sealing. Afterward, place the assembled unit into a vacuum chamber to remove air and moisture, and inject argon gas to enhance thermal insulation.
