What is insulated glass unit？
Tempered Insulated glass units (IGUs) are windows and doors composed of two or more panes of glass separated by a spacer along the edge. The space between the panes is filled with an inert gas, such as argon or krypton, to reduce heat transfer and provide better insulation. In addition to providing improved thermal performance, insulated glass helps to block ultraviolet (UV) light, reduce sound transmission, and increase energy efficiency.

How do double glazed glass produced？
Insulated glass (IG) units consist of multiple lites of glass separated by a sealed air space. The metal tube that surrounds the insulated unit and separates the glass is known as the spacer. This spacer is available in thicknesses of 3/16″ and above and is filled with a specialized moisture-absorbing material called a desiccant. The entire unit is sealed with a high-grade sealant to ensure quality and durability.
