3-How to produce the 10mm Clear Tempered Glass Panels for Balustrade Systems?
1. Cutting and Shaping: Begin with a large sheet of 10mm annealed glass. Cut it to the desired size and shape using a glass cutter.
2. Edge Processing: The edges of the cut glass are ground and polished to remove any sharp edges and reduce the risk of breakage during the tempering process.
3. Washing and Inspection: The glass is thoroughly washed to remove any dirt, oil, or particles that could cause imperfections during tempering.
4. Heating: The cleaned and inspected glass is placed in a tempering furnace. The furnace heats the glass to a temperature of approximately 700°C, which is close to its softening point.
5. Quenching: Once the glass reaches the required temperature, it is rapidly cooled using high-pressure air blasts. This process is called quenching.
